Job Purpose:
A quality manager typically ensures smooth operations of various processes that contribute to the services of our organization by ensuring that the right processes and procedures are in place. Allowing other employees to focus on their specialized area of operations within various departments.

Responsibilities:
 Able to give advice and support to a ISO 9000 certified Management system;
 Able to translate and/or filter the needs and desires of the Management Team to the department managers and vice versa;
 Identify development needs of the department managers and take the necessary measurements;
 Arranges together with HR trainings as related to improvement/ development of the department managers;
 Measures and ensures that labor relations requirements are met;
 Maintaining records, reports and issuing correspondence, reviewing errors and their causes and giving advice to correct such errors;
 Ensures smooth operations of various processes that contribute to the services of our organization;
 Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission;
 Improve management reporting, information flow, business process and organizational planning;
 Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of all departments, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.

Requirements:
 Master in Business Administration or Operations Research / Management Science or Logistics;
 Minimum 3 - 5 years experience as a Quality Manager within an international environment;
 Experience in the maritime sector is essential;
 Experience working towards an ISO 9000 certification;
 Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style;
 Persuasive with details and facts;
 Delegate responsibilities effectively;
 High comfort level working in a diverse environment;
 Ability to set boundaries and guard those;
 Ability to provide effective feedback and address non-desired behavior;
 Affinity with hospitality;
 A strong written and oral proficiency in Dutch and English.
